George Shannon’s practice involves national trial practice specializing in defense of claims against companies relating to the acts of their subsidiaries and other affiliates. Mr. Shannon also represents clients in corporate governance, finance, real estate, breach of contract and related matters.


Mr. Shannon concentrates his practice in the representation of HCA Inc. and Health Management Associates, Inc. and its subsidiaries in a high volume of cases around the United States relating to corporate structure and defense issues. Mr. Shannon has also represented numerous financial institutions in Houston, Texas in finance and restructuring work.


Mr. Shannon is married to his wife of 44 years, Cecille. They have three children and seven grandchildren. Mr. Shannon enjoys reading, golfing, and community activities.
